When collecting items through Gacha, you will likely get two or more of the same items. Because two of the same items can’t be used at the same time, duplicate items lose their functionality. However, duplicate items in Meta Livly can be used to participate in the Digital Data Lab research. A score is given depending on the item rarity of the research data submitted to the Digital Data Lab, and rewards for research contribution are given to players who achieve high scores. This is a system that provides a revenue model in a similar way to the crypto scene called staking, tailored to the core UX of avatar coordination games for collecting rare items.
In the Digital Data Lab, the rank is determined by the score based on the rarity of the fashion items submitted. In other words, the more rare items players collect, the higher rewards they will get. Note that there is a set number of items each player can submit, so choose wisely which item to submit to maximize your score.
Item Rarity Grade | Item Gacha Probability | Base Score |
---|---|---|
Super Rare | 2% | 10,000 |
Rare | 14% | 1,000 |
Normal | 84% | 150 |
Players in the top ranks of the daily rounds will receive $SD and GP as rewards for their research contribution. The total amount of $SD and GP rewarded by Item Staking is set to 25% of the currency spent in Gacha 7 days before. (However, when Gacha Mining is not implemented yet, 100% of the currency spent in Gacha will be set as Item Staking reward pool)
► If there are fewer participants than the total number of possible reward recipients, any undistributed $SD rewards are carried over and added to the new reward pool the next day. (GP rewards will not be carried over, but will be incinerated) ► The $SD and GP reward amount for each reward tier can be changed depending on the in-game economy status. ► The reward pool and ranking results of the research round of the previous day can be checked in the app. ► You can find the info on previous rounds and rewards for each rank on the 🔗Gacha WEB 3.0 website. (Search available up to 1,000th rank of each round)
